Expedition Composite’s Limitations
While Expedition sails are lighter than previous generations of durable cruising laminates, they’re still heavier than our Element or E-Tech composites. For pure light-air performance or highly specialized sails where weight is the primary concern, those membranes may be more suitable.
But when strength, reliability, and all-conditions versatility matter most—especially for race boats that cruise or cruisers that race—Expedition Composite sails are the clear choice.
