Ride 750 Quad System – Full Kit without Keypad
Seakeeper Ride controllers are mounted below the waterline to your boat’s transom. Using custom, proprietary inertial sensing hardware and software, the system understands how the boat behaves in all three axes and commands the deployment of the rotary blades to counteract pitch, roll, and yaw. As the blades are deployed, they create lift at the transom, managing the vessel’s motion instantaneously.
Seakeeper Ride knows that sometimes transom space is limited, so they developed the Seakeeper Ride 750 Quad system, which uses four smaller controllers to deliver the same span as the two larger controllers of the Seakeeper Ride 750. This system consists of four smaller controllers and is suitable for unique transoms that may have hull design elements that restrict available space.
How will installation be different on metal systems vs. plastic systems?
Installation will be similar, however, there will be some changes that allow installers to adjust the seal plate angle after the adhesive has cured and the equipment installed. That means better ability to tune in the seal plate angle relative to the hull bottom on each installation for maximizing performance. Please refer to Seakeeper Ride’s manuals for installation questions.
How to choose between the Seakeeper Ride 750 (two controllers) and the Seakeeper Ride 750 Quad (four controllers) systems?
Most 37-42 ft. boats will be able to fit the two controllers in the Seakeeper Ride 750 system. Seakeeper Ride recommends the Seakeeper Ride 750 system if the transom geometry allows for it (less cost and less installation work). If there are obstructions or elements of the hull design that restrict the available space for the use of two larger controllers, the Seakeeper Ride 750 Quad system is an alternative that may make a Seakeeper Ride installation possible.
Rapid Actuation
Rotary blades deploy at a rate of up to 300 mm per second, making 100 adjustments every second, enabled by a power-dense rotary design that requires just 14-16 Amps for operation.
Full Underway Control
Controls all motions (pitch, roll, and yaw) thanks to deployment speed and proprietary control software and hardware.
Intuitive
Predicts motion and responds instantaneously to eliminate them before they’re felt, with no buttons to push or adjustments to make, providing a boating experience you never imagined.
Reliable
The drivetrain is completely sealed in a dry and greased environment with no mechanical exposure to saltwater.
2 Port & 2 Starboard Controllers
Seakeeper Ride controllers are installed on the transom on either side of the engine(s)
2 Distribution Modules
Provides power and communication between the controllers and the software module
Software Module
The “brain” of the system that includes Seakeeper’s proprietary software and motion sensors
User Interface
The user interface is compatible with select Garmin, Simrad, and Raymarine MFDs. MFDs are not included in Seakeeper Ride equipment.
Eliminate up to 70% of Pitch and Roll Underway
Nothing compares to the first-of-its-kind Vessel Attitude Control System, Seakeeper Ride, which can eliminate up to 70% of pitch and roll underway. Our proprietary, rapid-deployment rotary blades make 100 adjustments every second to combat wave motions, providing unmatched performance.
